Job Summary
1st Shift Welder needed to perform MIG and other welding techniques in a manufacturing setting. Read and interpret engineering blueprints and work orders, prepare materials by grinding and cutting, position parts for proper alignment, and conduct in-process visual inspections to ensure weld quality and safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, operate welding equipment, and adhere to company safety protocols and 5S principles. Strong attention to detail, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and good communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- MIG welding proficiency required
- blueprint reading
- AWS welding certification preferred
- 1+ year welding experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- MIG welding proficiency required
- TIG or Flux-Cored knowledge a plus
