Job Summary
Operate production machinery, monitor quality, and execute batch manufacturing by weighing materials, loading vats, and transferring finished product to totes. Perform routine equipment checks, log time and temperature data, and maintain accurate inventory records. Conduct quality inspections and clean work areas to uphold safety and 5S standards. Report malfunctions and hazards to supervisors while collaborating with maintenance and production teams. Work the 1st shift (5:45 A.M. to 2:15 P.M.) in a hot, dusty manufacturing environment requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Possess minimum math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- Ability to use measuring tools and production equipment
- Speak, read and write English effectively
- Able to lift 55 lbs. bags in a constant rhythm
- Physically able to work 8 hrs. shift
