1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
Verify accurate counts of finished products and supplies, organize and store goods per GMPs and Safety policies, and load/unload trucks using bills of lading. Operate warehouse equipment including tow motors and battery hoists, perform cycle counts, and maintain FIFO rotation for raw materials and finished goods. Accurately receive products, stage customer orders on the shipping dock, and prepare orders within GLC guidelines using RF scanners. Communicate safety issues to the manager and maintain a clean, organized environment. Work 1st shift in a fast-paced production environment with product weights up to 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to make minor decisions based on standard practices
- Ability to read and prepare shipping and receiving records/reports and comprehend production schedules/pick sheets
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands
- Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder and pushing/pulling/carrying
- Product weight: up to 100 lbs
- Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors or other motorized vehicles in tight quarters
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment
- Lift truck experience
- Experience in the use of a bar code driven (RF) operation
