1st Shift VPT-Machine Operator for MTO-Plug

Machine Operator in the Made to Order Value Stream responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of manual grinding, CNC Grinding/Lathes, Heat Treat and Sand Blasting processes that produce the variety of gage products. Duties include producing to daily production totals, maintaining close diameters as specified, using basic CNC programming to modify existing programs for production runs, basic data entry, inspecting against blueprints/work orders with measuring equipment, ensuring quality production per standards, remaking/reworking nonconforming parts, maintaining production levels across operations, inputting daily data in internal systems, and potentially setting up/operating Chrome Plating and Heat Treat equipment. Employer is Vermont Precision Tools, a long-standing manufacturing partner serving medical, aerospace, automotive, and defense markets; work schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm.
