Job Summary
Execute job assignments per SOP and SWIS instructions while operating equipment safely and reading location documents. Maintain 5S standards in your work area, wear assigned PPE, and use scanners/PDA's as required. Alert supervisors immediately of quality concerns and process changes, then communicate effectively and professionally. Assist with training other team members and fill in where needed across supporting positions. Perform duties supporting HMGMA requirements within the Vehicle Processing Center.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
- Ability to Bend, turn, and use peripherals as required to operate equipment safely within company standard operator procedures
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing up to 50 lbs, depending on the location, throughout shift
- Able to work in a warehouse environment for up to 8-hour shifts, and any overtime hours if applicable
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking, analytical and organizational skills
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to complete an assigned task in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain and promote good housekeeping
- Basic computer skills
- Will be required to pass a parking test on sight
- Some positions will be required to use scanners/PDA's/tablets
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- HS Diploma/G.E.D preferred
- 1 year of indirect job experience preferred
- Quality control training experience preferred
