Job Summary
Lead and support a team of cleaners during assigned shifts at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. Train new employees, conduct quality inspections, monitor attendance, and assist with staffing needs while maintaining proper supply and equipment maintenance. Promote a safe work environment, enforce company policies, and communicate effectively with management, employees, and airport personnel. Serve as the acting shift leader when supervisors are unavailable and assist with daily operational challenges. This full-time, year-round role requires weekend availability and bilingual skills, offering weekly pay and benefits after eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Weekend availability
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background check
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and remain active throughout the shift
- Valid government-issued photo ID (State ID or Driver's License)
- U.S. Birth Certificate
- U.S. Passport
- U.S. Naturalization Certificate
- U.S. Permanent Resident Card
- U.S. Employment Authorization Document (EAD)
- Unrestricted Social Security Card
- Lift, push, and pull up to 80 pounds on a regular and repetitive basis
- Perform continuous physical activity throughout the entire shift
- Stand and walk for approximately 90% or more of the workday
- Frequently bend, stoop, and move the body downward and forward
- Kneel and crouch as needed
- Reach by extending hands and arms in all directions
- Handle objects by grasping, holding, turning, and manipulating items
