1st Shift Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, including managing inventory of loose pack, materials, and finished goods through physical counts and consolidation. Direct the 1st shift forklift drivers and supervise personnel while enforcing safety rules, GMP standards, and food defense protocols. Conduct accident investigations, perform performance reviews, and manage corrective action plans using Lean Manufacturing tools. Act as the primary liaison with customer logistics departments and assigned carriers to ensure production needs are met. Maintain forklift and material handling equipment in good working order. Manage inter-departmental transport of materials and handle shipping for the Food Bank, rejects, and returns.

- Maintains a high level of business courtesy and etiquette when interacting with Customers, Vendors, and Sales representatives
- Demonstrated time management and multitasking skills
- Willingness to work additional hours as necessary
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 2 years Customer Service experience
- 2 years WMS / ERP experience
- Knowledge of general office equipment
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to use various PC software in Windows environment
- Knowledge of typing and 10-key calculator
- Basic knowledge of the internet
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately
- Train-the trainer Forklift Certification
