Job Summary

Supervise daily warehouse logistics including outbound shipment staging, loading, and documentation verification, while overseeing incoming unloading, inspection, and put-away of materials. Maintain accurate inventory levels through tracking and cycle counts, ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and safety policies, and lead the shipping and receiving team through scheduling, coaching, and performance evaluations. Manage equipment allocation, conduct internal audits, investigate nonconformances, and prepare statistical reports for management on KPIs and risks. This role operates 1st shift with schedules varying from 45+ hours based on demand, requiring adaptability to interior and exterior environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in a similar role, including people management
  • Forklift certification
  • Strong understanding of logistics, freight, and warehouse processes
  • Ability to read BOLs, packing slips, and technical documentation
  • Demonstrated leadership and people skills
  • Results oriented with solid communication skills (written, electronic communication, and verbal)
  • Ability to author reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems, Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Capable of developing project plans and communicating changes and progress
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Utilizes quality system to assist with Quality Management initiatives
  • Observes safety and security procedures
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
