Job Summary
Shipping Team Lead responsible for driving a proactive safety culture while achieving production goals related to quality, productivity, customer service and cost. Duties include training staff, managing and scheduling hourly production associates, ensuring safety and quality compliance, meeting KPIs, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and conducting root-cause analyses to resolve manufacturing issues. Must coordinate with the manufacturing team, use forklift to move finished goods, and develop coaching and ERP/program proficiency across team members while upholding Myers Core Values.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of 2-3 years working in a leadership role
- Forklift Experience
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient in root cause analysis (5-Why, 4M, Fishbone, A3)
- Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety
