Job Summary
Process and prepare customer orders for shipment by stocking, picking, packing, and using customer portals to execute and schedule deliveries. Operate a forklift to load and unload material safely while driving a cargo van to drop off orders. Track outgoing products to maintain accurate inventory and report any discrepancies to the supervisor. Ensure all inventory is traceable from receipt through delivery, maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness to comply with safety procedures. Complete preventive maintenance on equipment and perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of shipping policies and procedures
- Must be able to operate a scanner gun
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Must be able to drive a cargo van as needed
- Must have valid Driver's license
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing shipping environment preferred
- Hand scanner gun experience preferred
- Experience utilizing a forklift is a plus
- Will be required to pass a forklift training course
