Job Summary
Operate a mechanical saw to measure and cut material, identify structural steel and alloys, read blueprints and drawings, and load/unload materials for processing and delivery. Perform in a shop environment with adherence to safety policies, PPE requirements, and SOPs; demonstrate strong time-management, attention to detail, and effective communication in a diverse team while completing tasks and maintaining safety. Ability to work independently in a busy production setting and read production orders and other instructions to support manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2 years experience as a hem saw operator
- Ability to read and understand production drawings, blueprints, work orders and other written instructions
- Computer literate
