Job Summary
Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, and mail to various plant areas, supporting the receiving building by receiving, sending, storing, and delivering inventory to processing and slaughter zones. Complete required shipping forms, operate a forklift, and perform other duties as assigned by management. Daily local trips into town are required to pick up supplies. This role involves handling inventory weighing 20–60 lbs and requires a current driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of receiving-building inventory processes, including receiving, sending, and handling inventory
- Basic computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and management
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry boxes weighing 20–60 lbs
- Must have a current driver's license
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to complete required shipping forms
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must be available for Saturdays as needed
