Job Summary
Provide Quality Group metrics to senior staff and work cross-functionally with design and manufacturing to define process improvements and ensure compliance. Conduct process audits, review Quality clauses during RFQs and new purchase orders, and host or support customer, supplier, and ISO certification audits. Drive quality initiatives including risk mitigation, FMEA tools, and new metric implementation via a quality dashboard. Design methods for inspecting and evaluating product precision, perform root cause corrective actions, and support MRB/TRB/change requests weekly. Operate on the 1st shift with 10% travel, requiring a US citizen and security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Master's degree in engineering or Bachelor's degree in engineering and equivalent experience in electronics manufacturing environment (2+ years)
- Proven leadership and effective oral communication skills
- An understanding of root cause corrective action (RCCA)
- An understanding of Quality Management Systems: ISO9001, AS9100, and other related systems
- Able to deal with multiple issues simultaneously and have the awareness of setting priorities
- Good Engineering skills regarding machining, tolerancing, reading source control drawings and general electrical engineering skills
- Security Clearance
- 10% of the time travel
