Job Summary

Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions, performance, and functionality. Document and report inspection results, including deviations from quality standards, to relevant departments for corrective action. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues, participate in audits, and provide training on quality standards and inspection techniques. Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities in compliance with ISO and FDA regulations. Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience with quality control processes, including inspection techniques and measurement tools
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies, including ISO and FDA regulations relevant to medical devices
  • Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address quality issues
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software applications related to quality control, such as statistical analysis tools and quality management systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve quality objectives

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology
