Job Summary
1st Shift Production Tech at ABB in Pinetops, NC. You will support the Maintenance team by following maintenance guidelines, increasing equipment and production-line efficiency, responding to emergencies and equipment breakdowns, documenting recurring problems, identifying parts and addressable issues, and setting calibrations to meet production specifications. Requires 5+ years in manufacturing, data analysis and reporting experience, knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes, and strong hands-on technical skills with tools. Onsite at the Pinetops facility, with emphasis on safety, PPE, and adherence to safety protocols. ABB emphasizes diversity and equal opportunity in employment. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools
- Ability to safely use a ladder
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
- Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment
- Frequent use of computers for data entry, monitoring, and communication
