Job Summary
Supervise machine and assembly operators while enforcing MME Group safety and quality guidelines. Complete training for new shift members, visually inspect parts for defects like shorts and contamination, and record accurate production data. Communicate with engineers and technicians to resolve day-to-day issues, initiate change requests for documentation updates, and perform final product inspections. Drive team culture through recognition and teamwork, ensuring proper documentation during work order changes and maintaining area cleanliness. Requires three years in plastic injection molding, valid identification, and ability to lift 30lbs. Hourly pay applies.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Valid identification and the ability to legally work in the United States
- Three years working in the manufacturing of plastic injection molding
- Previously employed at MME Group as a Machine Operator III
- Ability to read and comprehend production instructions, policy manuals, safety instructions, short correspondence and business memorandums
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written
- Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- To perform intermediate mathematical computations (examples: add, subtract, and divide in all unit of measure, using whole numbers and decimals)
- Accurate manual dexterity
- Ability to occasionally lift 30lbs unaided
- Walking and stair climbing is required within the office/shop areas
- Ability to stand, bend and stoop
- Demonstrated attention to detail
