The Production Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring a safe working environment. Responsibilities include verifying daily production orders, ensuring proper staffing before line start-up, overseeing team member training and rotation, ensuring machinery and workstations meet standards including USDA inspections, promoting safety through regular meetings, managing shipments and inventory coding, and providing leadership to build a strong team. Travel expected 1-5 trips per year. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with 80% of time spent on the production floor. Education: high school diploma; vocational or college courses preferred. 1+ years in a manufacturing environment with prior supervisory experience preferred.
