1st Shift Press Operator

Operate, set up, and troubleshoot flexographic printing presses and auxiliary equipment, producing products in a highly efficient manner and in alignment with KPI goals to achieve the highest quality. Responsibilities include changing plates, cylinders, and dies, performing basic machine maintenance, maintaining 5S in the work area, reporting malfunctions, completing required paperwork, cross-training across press lines, following quality inspection plans, and collaborating with plant leadership across engineering, procurement, customer service, and logistics. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure health and safety compliance by operating machines safely and reporting unsafe conditions. This role requires an AA degree or 1-3 years related experience and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
