Job Summary
Manage maintenance systems for high-performing manufacturing organizations by implementing Root Cause Analysis, Reliability-Centered Maintenance, and TPM to maximize plant capacity while minimizing costs. Assign work schedules to reduce unscheduled downtime and oversee staff through delegation, policy administration, and safety enforcement. Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support for operating teams and assist in developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs using SAP PM. Track Key Performance Indicators for equipment reliability and overall effectiveness. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of relevant experience, and leadership skills. May require long hours, weekends, and travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university
- 5+ years' relevant experience
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management
- Advanced technical skills in the mechanical / electrical fields (e.g. PLCs, instrumentation, mechanical engineering, etc.)
- Ability to lead resource planning efforts in a large manufacturing environment
- Thorough knowledge of world-class maintenance management systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, etc.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of and the Internet
- Well versed in the use of SAP
- Strong interpersonal and technical skills
- Presentation skills
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
- May be required to work long hours and weekends
