Job Summary
Parts Room Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily parts room operations in poultry production, managing accurate inventory of parts, tools, and equipment, and supervising staff. Key duties include inventory management with cycle counts and physical audits, procurement and vendor coordination to ensure timely receipt and inspection of parts, maintaining organized storage and labeling, supervising and training staff, ensuring safety and compliance, collaborating with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime, and maintaining detailed records of parts transactions and purchase orders using computerized systems (CMMS/SAP).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree or technical training in supply chain, logistics, or maintenance management (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in parts inventory management, warehouse operations, or related role (preferably in poultry or food production)
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
- Knowledge of computerized inventory systems (e.g., CMMS, SAP, or similar)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
