Job Summary
Repair and refurbish damaged pallets in a fast-paced production environment while meeting company safety and quality standards. Inspect pallets for defects (broken boards, missing components, nail defects, debris, contamination), correct defects to meet specifications, and perform tasks such as removing damaged boards with pry bar/hammer, cutting/removing nails with a reciprocating saw/grinder, and attaching boards using a pneumatic nail gun and hammer. Restock supplies, clean the work area, and perform other duties as required; may work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts depending on production needs. Emphasizes speed, accuracy, safety, and adherence to customer quality criteria. Requires basic math skills and the ability to handle 75–85 pound pallets; physical, hands-on repair work in a production setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old
- Basic tool knowledge is a plus
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets
