Job Summary
Prepare outbound shipments by pulling correct product, labeling containers, verifying items, and wrapping based on customer demand. Communicate quality and shipment concerns to the PC Supervisor to maintain 100% on-time delivery. Operate forklifts or electric hoists to move finished product while lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds frequently. Work flexible hours, holidays, and overtime as required in a deadline-driven environment. Maintain safety and accuracy standards while using basic tablet/scanner proficiency for PLEX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret a variety of documents such as manifests, summary reports, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations (Team Meetings) to other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must have basic understanding of tablet/scanner use for PLEX
- Must be a highly motivated, strong team player
- Must have the ability to function in a deadline driven, fast-paced and changing environment
- Must have the ability to work overtime as required to meet customer demand
- Must be able to work flexible hours and holidays
- Must be able to continually lift, twist, bend and handle up to 30 pounds
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must occasionally move up to 75 pounds
