Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment, including heavy machinery repairs such as installing, transferring, rigging, fabricating, and rebuilding. Perform equipment alignment and adjustment, assist with equipment modifications and improvements, and cross-train to support other functions as required. Work in a manufacturing environment while following heavy machinery safety procedures like LOTO, with the ability to work overtime as needed. This role offers a sign-on bonus and perfect attendance bonus for eligible new hires at American Aluminum Extrusion, a company with over 20 years in the aluminum extrusion industry.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of heavy machinery safety procedures (LOTO)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of machining, milling, fabricating, and welding
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Two years of experience as a millwright
- Ability to lift and move equipment or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds
