Job Summary

Stock and pick engine components through the remanufacturing process to feed assembly lines, utilizing a forklift, hoist, and hand truck to fulfill parts carts for S60, MBE, MDEG, OCM's, and HDEG builds. Operate Navision for parts movement, data entry, and research, while identifying components by learning identification numbers and adhering to work rotation plans. Perform physically demanding duties including repetitive hand manipulation, moderate to heavy lifting up to 50lbs, and maintaining a clean work area to meet quality standards. Complete training matrix for each rotation and cross-train throughout the area as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
  • Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching
  • Ability to work in a repetitive motion environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently (option to use hoist)
  • Read, understand and complete documentation
  • Willingness to cross-train throughout the area
  • Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary
  • Established satisfactory attendance record and performance rating
  • Must maintain a clean work area
  • Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
  • Cross train on other jobs as required
  • Ability to operate hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner
  • Use of Navision for parts movement, data entry, and research location of parts and part numbers
  • Knowledge of computers, tablets, printers, and scanners
  • Willing to relocate to different plants, buildings, warehouses, etc. when needed
  • Operate hoist, hand tools, forklift, hand truck, and picker
  • Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers
  • Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
  • Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application
  • Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
  • Previous mechanical experience
  • High School Diploma / GED preferred and further college education a plus
