Job Summary
Operate forklift to move raw materials to production lines, ensure timely delivery of supplies to departments, update the inventory management system in real time, conduct periodic audits to verify inventory accuracy, communicate with Supervisors for clear lines of communication, and maintain safety and 5S Lean standards. Requires high school diploma or equivalent with forklift operation training; valid US driver license; forklift experience; knowledge of receiving, processing, and storage procedures; ability to work in a team and adapt to production priorities; familiarity with lean or continuous improvement practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent; training in forklift operation and safety certifications preferred
- Must have a valid US Driver License
- Forklift experience
- Knowledge of inventory receiving, processing, and storage procedures
- Understanding of production line supply requirements and general production operations
- Experience with Sheet Metal, hardware, electronics, and shop tools a PLUS
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices to enhance operational efficiency preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless operations across departments
- Must meet physical fitness standards necessary for frequent lifting, walking, and standing
