1st Shift Material Handler - Forklift (6:15a-2:15p) Tues-Sat

Receiving, storing, picking, and distributing materials and products within the establishment by reading production schedules, customer orders, and work orders. Transport items from receiving or production areas to storage or designated zones, sorting and placing materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences. Load and unload trailers of palletized and non-palletized product while utilizing manual and automated material handling equipment. Mark materials with identifying information, weigh or count items for distribution, and record amounts received or distributed. Open bales, crates, and containers; take photos of incoming or outgoing loads for documentation. Adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines, maintain clean work areas, and report defective equipment or injuries. Perform cycle count inventory, climb material tanks if applicable, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives like 5S. Mandatory overtime may be required.
