1st Shift Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including injection presses, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machinery while performing preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime. Maintain and repair HVAC, chillers, dryers, and compressed air systems, ensuring sanitation and food safety compliance through rigorous equipment upkeep. Document all maintenance activities using CMMS software and collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve tasks with key internal customers. This role requires knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and PLCs, with a preference for candidates with over five years of food industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Knowledge of mechanical systems
- Electrical troubleshooting
- PLCs
- Pneumatics
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Knowledge of OSHA/LOTO
- Ability to work in tight spaces
- Ability to push/pull with force
- Ability to lift and move items >50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work at height
