Job Summary

Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain complex mechanical, electrical, and facility systems using work orders, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Diagnose and repair equipment including heating, cooling, stamping, and welding machinery, while performing scheduled preventative maintenance and electrical system checks on 277V and 480V circuits. Assist in equipment installation, relocate machinery, and train departmental employees on procedures. Utilize pneumatic tools, multi-meters, and diagnostic devices to address equipment breakdowns with minimal supervision. Adhere to safety rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA requirements while maintaining a clean work environment. Complete required pre-employment testing and undergo trade compliance screening.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role in a manufacturing, industrial, or plant environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, motors, valves, and power transmission equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production equipment and facility systems with minimal supervision
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, adjustments, alignments, and mechanical rebuilds
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, technical drawings, and work orders
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting of motors, sensors, controls, and related equipment
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, grease gun, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
  • Strong understanding of safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, OSHA requirements, and safe work practices in an industrial environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize maintenance needs, and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Must be able to lift, climb, bend, stand for extended periods, and work in industrial conditions as required
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment written test is required as part of the selection process
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours as needed to support production and maintenance requirements
