Job Summary
Sort materials by identifying and removing non-conforming items while maintaining physical endurance for pushing, pulling, and lifting repetitive movements. Follow quality specifications for materials based on customer and internal standards, complete production reports accurately, and perform light maintenance tasks such as cleaning or basic equipment repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency, adhering strictly to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and operational guidelines. Work in a physically demanding, industrial environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust, requiring prolonged standing and coordination around moving machinery.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to complete required safety training
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work in a variety of roles depending on daily needs
- Ability to stay focused and maintain situational awareness on a moving sort line
- Strong listening skills
- Willingness to learn
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods
- Must be able to perform repetitive movements for extended periods
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, bend, stretch, and carry materials as needed
- Must maintain good hand-eye-foot coordination and balance
- Must be able to climb ladders, step onto platforms, and access tight or awkward spaces
- Must use arms, legs, and full-body movement to perform job tasks
- Must work safely around machinery and moving equipment
- Must tolerate exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and typical industrial odors
- Must be able to work in an indoor/outdoor industrial setting
- Must tolerate exposure to weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow
- Must tolerate a high-noise environment with required PPE
- Must be able to work in a dirty, dusty, and physically demanding environment
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of related labor, manufacturing, construction, or warehouse experience
