Job Summary
Receive, kit, and cycle count parts and materials for production by matching component numbers to work orders using a computer. Pick components for hand and machine assembly, label bins and pallets with identification information, and report inventory shortages or damaged materials. Perform other related duties as instructed in the fabrication shop environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and prolonged standing. Preferred candidates have forklift experience and cycle counting skills. Required Qualifications
- Ability to correctly match electronic component part numbers to numbers listed on work orders printed on paper or on a computer screen
- Ability to correctly label bins, bags, and pallets with identification information
- Minimal computer skills
- Experience with inventory management and material handling
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs
- Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping
- May work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals
Desired Qualifications
- 1 + years of forklift experience
- Satisfactorily pass in-company forklift certification program
- Cycle counting experience
