Job Summary
Operate CNC and Manual Honing machines to remove material from inner diameters, ensuring parts meet specifications for size, finish, roundness, and straightness. Check equipment upon shift start, verify machine and gauge setups against work orders, and perform necessary calibration procedures. Run production parts using metrology tools like roundness checkers and indicating probes while following safety protocols and process steps. Maintain high quality output and address minor mechanical repairs as needed. Requires moderate math skills, attention to detail with small components, and ability to lift 40 lbs. This 1st shift role supports high-volume manufacturing finishing operations.
