Job Summary
Conduct the disassembly of S60 & HDEP heads in accordance with remanufacturing processes, ensuring quality and safety while operating tools such as hoists, presses, and air tools. Log and verify head cores, utilizing computer systems, drawings, and bills of materials to access company data. Actively participate in improving work area safety, quality, and throughput through suggestion activities and housekeeping. Perform physically demanding duties including repetitive hand manipulation and lifting up to 50 pounds on concrete floors. This role is located in Byesville, OH, with a starting pay of $18.40/hr and potential for gainsharing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
- Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must maintain a clean work area
- Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
- Cross train on other jobs as required
- Perform other duties as needed
- Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application
- Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
- Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
- Previous mechanical experience
- High School Diploma / GED preferred and further college education a plus
