Job Summary
Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment; maintain accurate inventory management practices to ensure stock levels are monitored and recorded; collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency; use RF Scanners to pick items; perform regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs; build pallets for storage or shipment according to company standards; follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members; join Abacus family and contribute to an efficient warehouse environment with real growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with order picking and fulfillment processes within a distribution center setting
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement in warehouse operations
