Job Summary
Remove pallets of product from trailers and break down goods for correct pallet configuration. Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets, ensure damaged product is properly accounted for, and verify structural integrity of pallets. Account for all received items and maintain accurate inventory records. This 1st shift role at our Imperial, PA distribution center supports seamless order processing and delivery to customers. No experience required; we provide full training. Candidates must be 18+, able to work extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F), and pass drug and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F)
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
- Letter of support from their management if they work for a Gordon Food Service customer
