Job Summary
Sort pallets from loading docks to the sort line, removing debris and determining quality. Operate a forklift to move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the plant, positioning forks under, over, or around loads. Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper placement and securement of items. Conduct pre-operation forklift inspections and promptly report issues to maintenance. Adhere to all safety protocols, wear required PPE daily, and report hazards to supervisors. Lift and carry up to 40 lbs, pushing and pulling items with a maximum force of 31 lbs/feet. Work Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with full benefits available day one.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an industrial, fast paced environment with industrial equipment
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures relevant to forklift operations
- Valid Forklift Operator certification/license
- Ability to complete task within a timely manner with high attention to detail
- Ability to understand and communicate information
- Ability to work independently in a team environment
- Lift and carry up to 40 lbs throughout their work shift
- Push items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet
- Pull items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet
- Work requires standing for long periods of time
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required
