Job Summary
This 1st Shift Forklift Operator role involves moving product throughout the warehouse, picking and staging orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory. The position requires operating a forklift or powered pallet jacks, working with RF inventory systems, and performing general shipping/receiving duties while adhering to safety rules. Candidates should be comfortable working in a cooler (34-38F), able to read/write/speak English, have strong math and computer skills, and be able to lift up to 60 pounds frequently and 80+ pounds. Weekend and overtime availability is required, with a comprehensive benefits package offered. The role supports a 1st shift schedule in multiple site locations (Milwaukee, WI and Belvidere, IL) within a refrigerated distribution/3PL environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience operating a forklift or powered pallet jacks
- Experience working with RF controlled inventory systems is a plus
- Able to read/write/speak English
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds frequently and 80+ pounds
- Ability to work weekends and overtime
- Good computer aptitude and math skills
