Job Summary
This 1st Shift Forklift Operator role is responsible for the daily movement of product throughout the warehouse and involves loading/unloading trucks, picking and staging orders, and maintaining accurate reconciliation of product. It requires operating a forklift or powered pallet jacks, working in a cooler environment (34-38F), using RF inventory systems, and adhering to safety rules and procedures; overtime and weekend work may be required. The role supports a full benefits package and seeks candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience operating a forklift or powered pallet jacks
- Prerequisites: High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience with RF controlled inventory systems (a plus)
- Previous experience handling food products (a plus)
- Ability to work in a cooler (34-38F)
- Ability to read/write/speak in English
- Lift up to 60 pounds frequently and 80+ pounds
- Ability to work weekends and overtime
