Job Summary

Prepare and serve menu items according to recipes while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Demonstrate versatility by working across various kitchen stations, completing opening and closing duties, and assisting with inventory management and rotation. Clean coolers, freezers, and storage areas as directed, and learn to operate kitchen equipment safely. Volunteer to support team members and foster positive relationships with guests and colleagues. Participate in scheduled training sessions and evaluations, adhering to all workplace policies and regulations. Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, wearing the designated uniform and accepting varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proof of current enrollment in an educational program
  • Enrollment proof in an educational program
  • One year of culinary experience
  • Serve Safe Food Handlers certification
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking methods, and food safety
  • Competent knife skills
  • Culinary knowledge
  • Familiarity with food products and preparation techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to teamwork and positive guest interactions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Compliance with pre-employment screenings and health standards
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to wear the designated uniform
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Minimum age requirement of 16 years
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds
