Job Summary
Prepare and serve menu items according to recipes while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Demonstrate versatility by working in various kitchen stations, completing opening and closing duties, and assisting with inventory management and rotation. Learn to operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely, clean coolers and storage areas, and volunteer to support team members as needed. Foster positive relationships with guests and colleagues while adhering to workplace policies, gaming regulations, and hygiene standards. Perform tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, requiring flexibility to work at different venues, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proof of current enrollment in an educational program
- Enrollment proof in an educational program
- One year of culinary experience
- Serve Safe Food Handlers certification
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking methods, and food safety
- Competent knife skills
- Culinary knowledge
- Familiarity with food products and preparation techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to teamwork and positive guest interactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Compliance with pre-employment screenings and health standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to wear the designated uniform
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Minimum age requirement of 16 years
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and depth perception
- Excellent personal hygiene
- Flexibility to work at different venues as required
- Adherence to workplace policies and regulations, including those related to gaming and safety
- Valid gaming license (for non-gaming employees with annual income reaching $50,000 or more)
Desired Qualifications
