Job Summary
Chop/stage parts for assembly, operate all equipment in the miter door cell, and move material as part of a production team. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and meeting quality standards while supporting department goals. Requires 1 year of production or similar experience (carpentry or detail-oriented environments preferred), ability to read a tape measure and caliper, and basic math/computer skills. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with ability to work in a team, communicate in English, and occasionally perform overtime including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- One year of production experience or similar in carpentry or fast paced, detail-oriented environment is preferred
- Work neatly (gluing and stapling doors) and meet quality standards
- Two to three years of work experience
- Knowledge of safe work practices
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to distinguish colors and species
- Ability to read a tape measure and caliper
- Math and computer skills
- Ability to read/write/communicate in English
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Self-starter who works effectively without close supervision
- Overtime is required, including weekends sometimes with little or no advance notice
- Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- May be required to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
