1st Shift Carbide Grind Operator – $22.09/hour

Carbide Grind Operator responsible for setting up and operating multiple grinding machines to produce Carbide Tipped Saw products. Tasks include adjusting guides, vise, grinding wheels, and indexing cams; maintaining coolant systems; monitoring speeds/feeds; loading with overhead hoist; performing first piece and ongoing inspections with micrometers and optical comparator; maintaining records; and adhering to safety practices. Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 1-2 years’ experience preferred. Location: East Longmeadow, MA.
