1st Shift - Cable Harness Assembler

Job Summary
As part of an aerospace manufacturing environment, assemble, test, and install electrical harnesses and related components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Use manual and powered tools to perform delicate tasks such as stripping, crimping, soldering, and connector assembly. Conduct electrical continuity and HI POT testing to ensure quality and compliance. Read and interpret engineering documentation including wiring diagrams, inspect and document each step of the assembly process, and verify materials per the Bill of Materials. Apply Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques to drive quality and productivity, and perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 Years Experience with wire harness assembly
- ability to read wire harness installation drawings/wiring diagrams/work instructions
- IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001 desired
- Technical certification in electrical assembly or related field preferred
