Job Summary
1st Shift Bakery - Machine Operator role involves hands-on operation of advanced food manufacturing equipment including VEMAG extruder, crimper, JDD bagger, inline pressing, industrial ovens, freezers, Texwrap systems, and automated packaging lines. Candidate will monitor line performance, ensure product quality and safety, conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime, record production data for traceability, and collaborate with teams to achieve high-volume production goals. Required GMPs/food safety training, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in reading instructions and basic math. Bilingual is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical certification in mechanical equipment preferred
- Must have completed GMPs and company food safety programs training
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingual is a plus
