Job Summary
1st Shift Assembler responsible for assembling products to completion using electrical drawings and schematics; read/interpret electrical and mechanical fabrication drawings; work independently to follow a schedule; participate in shop cleanup; communicate with Shop Leads on quality and production schedules; assist coworkers as needed; operate within ISO 9001 Quality System; collaborate with Quality, Environmental, and H&S teams to ensure safety and regulatory compliance; perform duties in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on high-quality standards and safety policies; physical demands include standing, using hands, and lifting up to 50 pounds; shift is 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime; contract-to-hire opportunity; location North Charleston, SC.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to understand assembly prints
- Mechanical aptitude; excel at the physical assembly of parts
- Experience in production line assembly and fine manipulation of components and wiring
- Advanced knowledge and working experience of handheld power tools/drills up to highest torque 65 in-lbs
