Job Summary
Quality Assurance Technician responsible for ensuring food safety and quality readiness across bakery and topping lines. Performs routine quality and food safety checks, inspects packaging and labels, conducts gluten and allergen testing, and operates calibration and measurement tools. Roles include Levels I–III responsibilities spanning multiple lines, with emphasis on GMP inspections, production validation, and clear communication of findings to other departments. Must be self-motivated with strong leadership and teamwork skills to support adherence to Quality Standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience performing quality assurance testing on food products and production lines
- Knowledge of GMP inspections and food safety standards
- Ability to conduct gluten and allergen testing
- Experience with instrumental testing and calibration equipment
- Ability to perform Pre-Op inspections and weekend rotation if needed (Level III)
- Strong communication skills and leadership within a team setting
- Experience with labeling, date codes, shelf life testing
- Ability to log results and communicate findings to cross-functional teams
