Job Summary
1st or 2nd grade teacher responsible for planning, organizing, and presenting instruction and learning environments to support students' academic and social development. Duties cover management of instructional time, behavior management, instructional presentation, monitoring student performance, and providing feedback. Requires a degree in education or related area eligible for licensure by the NC DPI; instruction includes preparing lessons, differentiating learning, and coordinating with teacher assistants. Position is a 10-month contract with full benefits and reports to the Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
