1st or 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer - IAH Airport (Newrest)

Job Summary
Operate, maintain, and repair boilers, HVAC, and refrigeration systems at the Newrest catering facility; perform preventive maintenance; respond to emergency maintenance requests; troubleshoot and repair equipment in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; maintain logs of operation and repairs in the CMMS; read blueprints and schematics; comply with safety program and trainings; shifts include day/night and weekends; requires City of Houston 1st or 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer License and the ability to work in an airport environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid City of Houston 1st or 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer License
- Valid Driver’s License preferred
- EPA Universal License preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Demonstrated strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be badgeable to work in secure areas of an airport
- Ability to work Day or Night shift including weekends and holidays - 12 hour shifts - 3 1/2 days on and 3 1/2 days off
