Job Summary
Develop and implement core curriculum for 1st grade students to meet their varying educational, social, and emotional needs. Design lesson plans tailored to each student's ability, establish behavioral rules, and administer exams to assess comprehension across subjects. Adapt teaching methods for individual students, instruct them in groups or individually, and prepare remedial programs for those falling behind. Confer with parents regarding progress and collaborate with administration to ensure compliance with teaching standards and safety regulations. This role supports the intellectual, spiritual, and social development of children within our team of caring Christian educators.
Required Qualifications
- Born-Again Believer in Jesus Christ
- Significant experience in child development using latest education theories and practices
- Good creative and artistic teaching abilities
- Good patience and flexibility
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- BA degree in education and/or other relevant license or certificate
- ACSI or FLDOE Certification
