Job Summary
Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula to meet ambitious academic expectations, submitting weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance. Assess individual student progress, adjust instruction accordingly, and communicate weekly updates to families. Facilitate a consistent behavior management system while hosting tutoring sessions as assigned. Participate in weekly manager check-ins, grade-level meetings, and before or after-school duties. Maintain a minimum of 40+ hours at school per week. Work alongside a team committed to ensuring 100% college readiness for graduates across Texas, Florida, Ohio, and beyond.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Teachers of record for students in K-3 must possess appropriate Reading Academies certification in accordance with TEA requirements or must be willing and able to obtain all relevant TX training within required timelines
- Minimum of 40+ hours spent at school per week

- High level of content-area proficiency as evidenced by teaching certification, field of study, or work-experience
- Experience in a K-12 classroom setting
- Bilingual certification
