Job Summary
First Grade Teacher responsible for planning and delivering instruction to develop students’ social, physical, and intellectual growth; using varied instructional techniques, formative assessment, and data to inform instruction; aligning with district curriculum and standards; collaborating with administrators, parents, and community to support student learning; maintaining accurate records, managing a classroom environment that is equitable and conducive to learning, and participating in staff development and district-sponsored activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree minimum
- Arkansas Teacher licensing for Elementary Education K-6 or ECE P-4
- Competence in the teaching act
- Ability to apply educational theory and practice with diverse learners
- Willingness to participate in ongoing staff development
- Ability to develop hands-on educational materials and activities
- Commitment to professional growth and classroom improvement
